Toray International UK Ltd
Toray International UK Ltd was originally founded on 1st July 1980 as Toray Europe Limited. The first Europe based trading company of the Toray Group; it was established to meet the front line sales demands of the European market. Shortly after this other European trading companies were set up in Germany and Italy to satisfy the rising demands of the region's businesses for Toray products.
Toray International, Inc., located in Japan, is a subsidiary of the
trading arm of Toray Industries dealing in Toray products and services. Founded in 1986, over the years Toray International has grown into a “Specialised Trading Firm” through continued striving for excellence.
As part of a global initiative to streamline operations and strengthen collaboration among trading companies, a restructuring exercise was undertaken whereby several “Overseas Trading Companies” were
brought under the leadership of Toray International, Inc. and rebranded to convey their affiliation with Toray International
In 2007 Toray Europe Ltd was renamed Toray International UK Ltd, and the Frankfurt based Toray International Europe GmbH, formerly Toray Deutschland GmbH, was made our immediate parent with Toray International, Inc. as the ultimate parent company.
Toray International UK Ltd chiefly specialises in three lines of Toray business: carbon fibre, textiles, and plastic films. Situated in London with over 30 years trading experience we are perfectly positioned and equipped to provide service excellence in delivering Toray products to UK clients. As we move into the future Toray International UK Ltd commit to maintain and develop the level of service we provide to Toray customers.
